Jotir - Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Jotir is a mobile application owned and operated by Integra Data Systems Private Limited ("we", "our", or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Jotir, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use Jotir.

2. About Jotir

Jotir is a personalised rashifal and muhurat application that provides:

  • Daily, weekly, and monthly horoscope readings
  • Accurate muhurat timings for auspicious activities
  • Personalised insights based on your birth details
  • Panchang and festival information

3. Disclaimer

Important: The rashifal, horoscope readings, and muhurat timings provided by Jotir are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They should not be considered as professional advice for making life decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy of astrological predictions. Users should exercise their own judgement and discretion.

4. Use of Jotir

You agree to use Jotir only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:

  • Use Jotir in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or networks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Jotir
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble Jotir
  • Use Jotir content for commercial purposes without permission

5. No Account Required

Jotir does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. All app features are available without registration. Any preferences you set are stored locally on your device only.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Jotir, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, rashifal content, and software, are owned by Integra Data Systems Private Limited and are protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Privacy

Jotir does not collect, store, or track any user data. We do not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party tracking services. Your privacy is fully protected when using Jotir.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Jotir is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that Jotir will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that astrological content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Integra Data Systems Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Jotir or reliance on its astrological content.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Jotir at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use Jotir will cease immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Jotir app. Continued use of Jotir after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") governs all payments made through the Jotir App and website (collectively referred to as the "Service"), operated by Jotir App ("we", "us", "our").

By authorizing a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy, along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Payments and Authorization

All payments made through UPI AutoPay, debit/credit cards, or any other approved payment method are processed only after user authorization.

By completing a transaction, you confirm that you are the rightful account holder or have proper authorization to use the selected payment method.

Once a payment is authorized, it will be processed through our secure payment gateway in compliance with RBI and NPCI guidelines.

2. Subscription Plans

Jotir may offer recurring or one-time subscription plans to access premium features or services. Each plan's validity and pricing will be displayed clearly at the time of purchase.

  • Monthly Plan: ₹49 – Valid for 30 days

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the next billing cycle.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered only in specific and verifiable cases:

  • Duplicate Payments – If a user is charged more than once for the same service due to a technical issue.
  • Technical Failure – If payment was successfully deducted, but the service or subscription was not activated.
  • Post-Cancellation Debit – If a UPI AutoPay charge was made after a valid cancellation before the debit date.

All refund claims will undergo internal verification and confirmation from our payment gateway or UPI partner before approval.

4. Non-Refundable Payments

Refunds are not applicable in the following situations:

  • User-initiated cancellations after successful service activation.
  • Change of mind or accidental payments.
  • Partially used subscription periods.
  • Issues caused by factors outside our control (e.g., network failures, UPI downtime, or device-related errors).

Once a valid service or subscription is provided, the payment becomes non-refundable.

5. Cancellations

UPI AutoPay (India)

Users can cancel their recurring mandate anytime directly through their UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc.). Canceling AutoPay will prevent future renewals but will not entitle the user to a refund for past payments. Subscription access continues until the end of the current paid period.

Manual or One-Time Purchases

One-time purchases are final and non-cancelable once processed.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 working days. Processing time may vary depending on the user's bank, UPI app, or payment provider. You will be notified via email once a refund has been initiated.

7. Invoices and Disputes

To request an invoice, email us at hi@integradatasystems.com within 7 days of your transaction.

In case of a payment dispute, please contact us first before initiating any chargeback or reversal with your bank. Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in temporary or permanent account suspension.

8. Taxation and Compliance

All fees are inclusive of applicable Indian GST, unless otherwise mentioned. All transactions comply with relevant RBI, NPCI, and digital payment regulations of the Government of India.

9. Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. All disputes arising out of or related to this Policy shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.

We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the revised date will be updated above. Your continued use of our Service after any such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
